Devlog 1: The Beginnings


This game takes place in a city block that seems to be fairly normal at first. But soon the player will realize that the city is right by an active volcano! You must work with your team to capture the control points and prevent the opposing team from capturing them. Be careful! As the game progresses the lava will start to rise, forcing the player to adapt to the environment and avoid a fiery demise.

In this game, there will be two teams that will be competing to capture the most control points. The levels will be designed in a vertical fashion so you will need to make your way upwards if you want to stay out of the rising lava. Your weapons of choice are variations of air cannons (no harmful flying bullets here!) and pushing an enemy player may cause them to fall off the platforms and fall into the flaming hot lava. There will be weapons and power ups that are scattered around the map which will grant you a more powerful weapon or a strong effect.  A plane will be flying around the map to drop supply crates that contain a weapon or powerup

This game will be a part of the Florida Poly Game Expo on the 23rd! We will have a downloadable ready to play game when that starts. Make sure to vote for us!
